  • Ex premier player and current Northern Districts representitive Peter McGlashan is off to play for the Bath Cricket Club in the South Western league.
  • Club premier player- Jonathon Hall has gone to England to play for the Camborne Cricket Club in Cornwall.
  • Club Director of Cricket - David Black is off to coach at the Bath Cricket Club this winter.
  • Senior Prizegiving - last Saturday attracted the biggest crowd ever. 101 members arrived.
  • Junior prizegiving was a success with the guest speaker being Hawkes Bays record Premier run scorer this past summer - Anton Lucas, who is our Club Captain.

 

Hawkes Bay Cricket Association prizegiving is on April 6th at 7.30pm in the R.C.McInnes Pavilion at Nelson Park Napier. All players welcome, especially members of the Women's and fourth grade teams as they have won their respective grades.

The Forum run by the Hawkes Bat Cricket Association, to discuss the competition and how improvements can be made, along with the election of committee for the HBCA, is to be held on Sunday 24th April in the R. C. McInnes Pavilion at Nelson Park, Napier at 10.30am. All players and Club supporters are welcome.

The Club has won the Fourth grade, the Women's grade HBCA competitions.

The third grade team was the top qualifier but got beaten in the semi's.

The Prems finished top in the 1 day rounds but got beaten by Taradale in the semi's.

The Club has retained the overall HBCA top Club award. We have won more games across the grades than any other Club.

 

Prizegiving

Senior Prizegiving - Saturday 9 April 2005 at 7:30pm in the Pavillion. Gold coin entry with supper provided. The Dukebox will be "cranked up" after supper.

Junior Prizegiving - Sunday 10 April 2005 at 4pm in the Pavoillion. Parents and players welcome.
